Setting up with Wanhao D7 Plus On Mac

#1

The plus version of the D7 has a usb port and a touchscreen display, it requires no direct connection to the printer (not sure if you even CAN connect directly) because of this I cant get the software to open so I can slice add supports hollow and export etc. Any advice on getting this to work with the D7?

With the D7+, you have to create a .cws file and transfer it via USB.

The .cws file needs the D7 gcode sequence for the print job, and the set of slice images (2560x1440 PNG files in ascending alphanumeric order) for the D7+ to process.

There’s no use in connecting your laptop to the D7+, the USB port is not connected to the gcode control board.
